These terms apply to the TCMeet pre-launch website and early-access waiting list. They do not yet govern use of the full mobile dating service. Separate or expanded app terms will be provided before public beta access begins.
1. About early access
TCMeet is being developed as a relationship-focused service for Turkish Cypriots and the wider Turkish community. The current website allows eligible adults to register interest in future access.
Joining the waiting list does not create a paid membership, guarantee admission, reserve a particular launch date or promise that every proposed feature will be released.
2. Eligibility
By joining, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are joining for yourself and not creating an entry for another person.
- You are currently unattached and genuinely open to a serious relationship or marriage.
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You will not use the waiting list for fraud, harassment, commercial promotion, data collection or automated submissions.
3. No guarantee of access
TCMeet may invite people in stages, limit access by location or capacity, pause invitations, close the waiting list, or decide not to offer access to a particular applicant. Early-access decisions may take account of operational readiness, safety, community balance and launch priorities.
4. Communications
We may send service messages needed to administer your waiting-list place, including a welcome email and an invitation if access becomes available.
Optional launch news, community updates or promotional invitations are separate. They will be sent only where you have chosen to receive them, subject to applicable law. You can change that choice by emailing hello@tcmeet.com.
5. Community standards
You must follow the Community Guidelines. TCMeet may remove or disregard entries linked to false information, abuse, impersonation, scams, threats, hate, exploitation or conduct inconsistent with a respectful relationship-focused community.
6. Website content and intellectual property
The TCMeet name, logos, designs, copy, graphics and website content are owned by TCMeet or used with permission. You may view the website for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, imitate or commercially exploit the branding or content without written permission.
7. Availability and changes
The website is provided on a pre-launch basis. It may be changed, suspended, interrupted or withdrawn. We may update forms, eligibility criteria, launch plans and these terms as the service develops.
8. External services
Links to external websites or sharing services are provided for convenience. TCMeet does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms.
9. Privacy
Our use of personal information is described in the Privacy Notice. The Cookie Notice explains the current use of cookies and similar technologies.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, TCMeet is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on a launch estimate, failure to receive an invitation, interruption of the pre-launch website, or use of an external link. The website is not a promise that a match, relationship or marriage will result.
11. Ending your waiting-list place
You can ask to leave the waiting list at any time by emailing hello@tcmeet.com from the address used to join.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
